Our Humble Beginnings
Mehran Enterprise was established in Karachi, Pakistan’s financial and industrial capital. We started with a small manufacturing facility comprising a single crochet knitting machine-a high-speed machine from the well-known Italian company Comez. The launch of technology of this kind to produce lace was a first for the local Karachi market at that time.
This step created the new dawn to produce narrow fabrics in Pakistan. Our machines enabled us to make quality laces at a scale and uniformly that set the new benchmark for the domestic industry of Pakistan. Since day one, our vision was not only to be in business but to create a benchmark of quality and efficiency.
Strategic Expansion and Growth
Following the valuable experience and reputation gained in the domestic lace market, we diversified our activities in 2004 to offer procurement solutions to large textile manufacturers. This was an expansionary strategic step that involved services such as toll manufacturing and operating as buying agents - assisting textile mills in procuring dependable, quality textile accessories from our deep-rooted connections and extensive knowledge.
Our major breakthrough was when we became allies with Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited, which is one of Pakistan’s leading textile exporters. Their confidence in us was a breakthrough which complements our abilities and paved the way for sustainable business growth.
